Over
the past 20 years I have worked as an engineer, project
manager and director in many industries: petroleum, insurance,
human resources, petrochemicals, computers and communications.
Each industry has Best Practices developed by great leaders
for ensuring the long term success of their organizations.
In
1998, I enrolled on the MBA program at the University
of Victory (UVic) because I wanted to gain the business,
management and leadership skills that could strengthen
my work and increase the earnings in my business. MBA
is all about how to successful manage a business. It gives
you detailed knowledge about every planning, researching,
financing and successfully managing a business.
During
the course, 'Entrepreneurship 411', taught by Dr. Ron
Mitchell, we learned that although a degree of luck is
involved in the ultimate success or failure of any new
venture, there are certain practices that can be applied
during the evaluation and development stages of a new
business to increase its potential, and to improve greatly
its probability of ultimate success!
This
amazed me. I thought, "If this guy's business practices
work so well that business success is virtually guaranteed
in less than five years, I want to know what he knows,
and more!"
Thus
began a fascinating and financially rewarding journey.
My goal was to compile the best practices from the most
successful people in the history of the world, and to
apply them to my business.
During
these intense years of full-time studies, I had the opportunity
to read hundreds of books. One that especially stands
out for me is Obvious Adams, the story of a marketing
genius. This book was written in 1916, but the business
lessons outlined in this book are just as valid today
as they were when they were first written. I credit this
book, among a great many others, along with my terrific
professors from the Department of Engineering and the
MBA program, for the lessons which evolved into a powerful
compilation of the best practice from some of the most
successful people in the world.
Soon
I was getting spectacular results in my business. For
the past ten years, using these Best Practices, I have
attracted large companies to support my business. Currently
I sell my fitness products on TV, in stores, at trade
shows, through affiliate programs, at seminars and workshops,
and, obviously, on the Internet - 70% of my business is
online. People all over the world benefit from the quality,
simplicity and effectiveness of my products.
And
so, for the reasons outlined above, my decision to earn
an MBA was the most important decision I've made on my
journey to personal and business success.
And
your decision as to whether or not you adopt Best Practices
is indeed going to be the most important decision you
ever make. Why? Because by learning the best practices
from successful people, you will unleash faculties and
dormant forces within you that will support your personal
success and happiness.
I
know this first hand. I have had the joy and gratification
of personally helping thousands of people as a result
of following Best Practices, the same Best Practices you
will learn and adopt, day-by-day following The Core Challenge.
I
wish you much prosperity in your journey, my friend.

Adopting 100 Best Practices
Successful
people have a certain type of personality. Successful
people think in a particular way, talk in a particular
way and act in a particular way. This way of thinking,
talking and acting can be learned and developed by anyone
who chooses to be successful, including you!
And
the longer you put it off, the more you will fall behind
those who are committed to being successful. By adopting
some of the Best Practices of successful people, you will
become one of them by learning how to:
Be
Stronger and Live Longer - Fitness Best Practice
suggest that fitness will help to strengthen our muscles,
sharpen our mind, and improve our creativity and productivity.
Fitness is everything from proper sleep to proper nutrition;
from stress reduction to weight reduction, and from
flexibility to balance and relaxation.
Be
Creative and Feel Abundant - Visualization Best
Practices suggest that we can use our imagination to
see yourselves in a situation that hasn't yet happened.
Visualization is picturing ourselves having or doing
the things we want, and successfully achieving the results
we desire.
Master
Your Attitude and Be Prepared - Persistence Best
Practices suggest that we have the ability to maintain
action regardless of our feelings. This means doing
what we have to do to reach our goals, regardless of
our emotional state and the circumstances that we are
facing.
Be
Compassionate and Be a Good Friend - Kindness Best
Practices suggest that kindness is one of the highest
modalities of human behaviour. One of the greatest feelings
in the world is the feeling of kindness that one receives
when one gives to another, selflessly, so as to enhance
another person's life experience.
Trust in Yourself and Think Like a Genius - Intuition
Best Practices suggest that every person has a creative
and sensitive mind that is able to perceive the invisible
through hunches about future possibilities. Intuition
is the ability to know things without the barriers of
time, space, or any other obstruction.
Focus
on Your Goal and Attract Abundance - Attraction
Best Practices suggest that we will attract to ourselves
whatever we give our focus, attention, and energy to,
whether it is positive or negative. "What we focus
on expands" is the result of taking action for
attracting the results we want. Another way to say this
is "Energy flows where attention goes."
Lead
by Example and Be Proactive - Management Best Practices
suggest that we can live in a better world if we manage
our needs in harmony with nature. Avoiding processed
food will reduce waste, save time and money, and protect
our environment at the same time. Also, choosing locally
produced food reduces the need to move and transport
large amounts of unneeded food around the world and
therefore reduces pollution.
After
having great results with this collection of 100 Best
Practices, we reasoned, "If we have produced big
profits for ourselves, we should be able to help our clients
do the same". To this end we have spent almost several
years refining and testing some of the best practices
for fitness and prosperity to create an amazing and empowering
program that we call The Core Challenge.

The
Core Challenge
Our
Vision is to make The Core Challenge a valued, tangible,
empowering and transformational experience. To this end,
The Core Challenge promotes 100 of the best practices
from highly successful people. The Core Challenge is designed
to help you understand the importance of Best Practices
in the development of your intuition and the maintenance
of your physical and mental fitness.
During
The Core Challenge, participants are empowered to learn
Best Practices day by day, thereby enabling them to master
100 Best Practices in 100 days. The key to incorporating
the holistic benefits of Best Practices is to implement
them in a consistent, systematic and integrated way. We
developed The Core Challenge expressly for this purpose.
If
you adopt Best Practices, you too will become successful,
and you too will live the life of your dreams. And importantly,
you will ensure that your health and fitness are the pillars
for sustaining long term success and happiness in your
life.
Why
is this important?
Because
feeling good is a top priority for a successful individual.
Feeling strong, meeting objectives and reaching goals
are energizing to top achievers. Looking younger and living
longer is also very important for top achievers. They
can't wait to get to work and see the results of their
efforts.
Some
people look at successful people and think that they could
never do what successful people do. They get discouraged
at the size of the gap between what is and what could
be.
Other
people look at successful people and are inspired. They
see successful athletes, successful students and successful
professionals as a template or benchmark, and use them
as models for what they would like to achieve.
Rather
than feel discouraged when you see a successful person,
let them inspire you! And when you do succeed, take a
minute or two and write to me, explaining your success
in as much detail as you can. Why? Because your success
story will help other people. And we will be happy to
share it with the world.
Take
Action Now!
While
you were reading the story, you may have thought to yourself,
"What is the important key to ensuring personal success?"
Many people have asked the same question. They searched
and searched for an answer but none was to be found until
they learned that, in order to be successful, you need
to act successful.
Successful
people do not wait for something to happen; they take
action to achieve their goals. They have an amazing capacity
to dream big, strive even bigger and come through against
all odds. They will themselves to do whatever it takes.
You
to can learn to think and act like the most successful
people in the world by adopting 100 Best Practices, one
day at a time, as you complete The Core Challenge.
